Who I Am

I'm a 35 year old business and data analyst. In my free time, I enjoy playing chess (and improving as an adult player), programming, reading, learning...anything, discussing philosophy and the purpose of life, productivity and more.

Chess Journey

In the learning community, especially the chess community there is a lot of discussion about neuroplasticity and how adults struggle to learn new skills or improve at current ones. My mother passed of dementia in 2024 and I'm doing everything I can to take care of my brain health. I love to play chess and am using my progress as a metric for learning as an adult, maintaining what I've learned, and denounce the importance of neuroplasticity.
